Being Fat Being affect the chance of Surviving Breast Cancer

Fat woman is more threatened to get a breast cancer. According to a U.S. study presented recently in a Congress of the American Cancer Association a woman.  Weight gain of 10% or more increases the risk of by 14% compared to women whose weight remains controlled. Obese women are more at risk to suffering from breast cancer. How to explain these? Fat cells, adiposities, and trigger more the spread of cancer cells, according to work done in France.

The proteins, change in contact with tumor cells promote their ability to spread. It makes the cancer cells to be more aggressive. Researchers have tested in mice by injecting tumor cells cultured with adiposities: and the result is they have a greater ability to form metastases.

A protein of inflammation promoted by adiposities plays an important role in this phenomenon. Among women with breast cancer, this protein exists in greater quantities near the large tumors. The researchers now want to identify the signals that allows fat cells to make tumor cells become more aggressive and to verify this mechanism in patients.

When a woman is diagnosed of breast cancer, she will do anything to survive and fight against the disease. A new study shows that keeping the normal weight is important in the phase of surviving breast cancer.

The research finds that being overweight (or obese) before and after their diagnosis had less chance of survival. This link is caused between the estrogen receptor positive forms of breast cancer; it is where estrogen fuels the growth of the cancer. Hormones, according to the researchers, are most certainly involved.

Over the last 20 years the numbers of overweight and obese adults have gaining the height heights. Nearly a third of Americans are obese today. Being obese and overweight in women also has increased levels of estrogen circulating in their blood, and this supports the growth of some cancerous cells.
